rocker options on 68 302 heads?

what options do I have for cheap rockers? I bought a set of heads for pretty cheap, but they did not have the rocker arms on them.

Rail rockers are probably your only option unless you install screw in studs and guide plates.

I dont think they are rail mounted rockers, they have studs.

those are pressed in studs with valve stems above retainers = rail rockers. if someone has a better answer, forget what i said.

you need rail rockers, I think it's comp cams that makes a set of rail rockers with a roller tip..

the reason you need rails is that there is no way to keep the pushrod lined up, the only early heads that dont need rails either have guide plates, or a narrow slot in the head that does the same thing...

Yup, those are rail rocker heads. The slot in head guided ones were discontinued sometime in april-may of 66. I just sold a set of early april 66 heads that still had the slots in the heads.
