I haven't really been able to find a solid answer. I have the Ford Racing 1.6 roller rockers on a set of TFS 170's thats gonna go in my 93 Vert. I've heard different ways to tighten them. What I did was tighten to zero backlash then another half turn, but I've had a few people tell me that I should back it out and only do a quarter turn? It has a Trick Flow stage 1 cam. What do you guys think?
Thanks

Cam card should specify in most cases. I have always gone 1/2 turn, but 1/4 to a half should be fine.

Cam was bought used from @TOOLOW91, but they're currently at a 1/2 turn so I'll just leave them at that.

It's only an inch or two. What's the big deal?

You have a little lee-way with hydraulic lifters. I've seen books call for anything from 1/4 turn to 3/4 turn. I like to go 1/2.
