I am new to classic cars and especially mustangs. I do autobody work and was given a 1969 Mach 1 to restore. The customer is planning on installing a cammer in it and i was given the Rod and Custom Mustang II kit to install. I have the crossmember and delete plates in no problem. I am having trouble disassembling the steering column to modify it to work with the rack and pinion system. The instructions that i was given with the kit aren't very informative about how to take the column apart so if anyone has any tips, pics or instructions that would be awesome. Thank You.

I have the R&C setup in my 66 . I didn't modify my column decided to go with a flaming river column instead.
You could check this site, maybe someone there can walk you through the process.

May want to check this site. All 69 and 70 forum. I thought to install a crammer I'm assuming a 4.6 you had to also modify shock towers. Never understood why someone would go this route when there are so many 302/351 based blocked options.
