I hear some people tell me that the rod bolts in 302's are pretty week and need to be replaced. Some other people tell me theve never had a problem with there moded motors.Iv got an older style 302 with a cam,351w heads, intake, carb ,ign.,flat pistons. Not a wild motor but better than stock.Any suggestions?

They are cheap insurance. If you never spin your engine over 4500rpm, then stock will be fine since they are grade 8. However, its not something you want to have a "problem" with and ARP bolts are reasonably inexpensive. Just one less thing to break if you do upgrade.

Im thinking it justy depends on what year mustang you got.On my 65 theres a bar underneath the pan and you can remove it with two bolts. If youve got a k member then I dont think you could

Well I just learned that if you replace the rod bolts you have to get your rods resized.Which for me costed 95$
