roll bar/cage info needed...

ok guys, i want a roll (whatever u call it) if anyone has a pic to help show examples please do post

my reasons for the cage are...

1) i want the car much stiffer since it is vert in the first place
2) i want it to be safer
3) i want to look of it

alos is it a good idea to bolt the harnesses to the bar? or sholud i take them to the floor behind the seat?

i have a half roll cage in the back of my notch. securely bolt it to the frame. sorry i don't have a digital camera so i can't show you. where the cage comes close to the interior have a padding around it to make it snug. i like the half cause it's easier to get into you car. are you keeping your old seatbelts. if not attach the seatbelts to the roll cage so that when the force for your body goes forward the shoulder straps are pulling from directly behind you. do not attach the shoulder straps to the ground. you'll compress your back in an accident.

my harness is connected to the cage. i had a tab welded to the cage so i can attach the harness to it. dont use the racing harness for driving around in the street. you are not able to move much when you are straped in it. i kept me seat belts connected for driving around town.

these are the only two other pics that i got. not the greatest pics. need to take some more one day. i think summit may still sell the 8 point cage. i dont remember seeing it in there catalog latley. i had montana brothers raceing do my cage here on long island.
