Roll Bar Install

For those who have installed a roll bar in a hatch, where did you run the rear hoop bars?

I have the Competition Engineering 6 pt kit, and the rear bars are long enough to go all the way back. I have not looked at other cars in a while, so I have forgotten what I had in mind when I started on this project.

Also, has anyone just use the bolts on the floor plates or does everyone weld?

I just put one in my car mine is all welded and goes all the way to the back as far out to the sides as I could get the bars with the trim still in there to distribute the strength as well as I could

I completed my S & H bar bar install about a month ago. The back bars provided were long enough to go all the way back. I cut them and landed them on the floor pan just inside the tops of the rear shocks. I installed the on 6" X 6" plates that I had to weld all the way around. My main reason was the battery box in the back was in the way of the long bars.
