I bought some FMS RR's for my new Thumpers.The same ones that the Cobra's use.(1.7) Should I buy new lifters? I hear alot of guys going from 1,6's to 1.7's and then having lifter problems!! I think T-Moss was one of them.What do you think?

Your motor is low milage right. Tmoss had like 200,000 miles on those lifters.
My 87 had 130k when i added thumpers and rockers and I had no problems.

just do a quick inspection when you take them out, they can be reused if they are in good condition, including when swapping cams. At 100K they should be ok as long as the oil has been changed on schedule and/or you use synthetic
You'll be OK. Actually my problem was with a NEW set of FRPP lifters that ahd less than 2,000 miles on em - one went bad after putting new 1.7 rockers on. I had a brain fart and threw the old ones away!
