Rookie Help: New Starter

Hey guys, my starter just went out on my 84 Mustang and I have gotten a new one. I got the old one out which was a pain to find the right angle to get one of the screws out. Anyways I am having some troubles with rewiring the new one. I am an idiot and did not mark the wires correctly but what can you do... The new starter I have already has the solenoid attached to it so I am a little confused on what to do with the remote solenoid on the side of the engine bay. My starter comes with wiring that it looks like you need to cut the end of the existing wire to be able to put the copper wire in the yellow plastic piece and then squeeze it shut plus a heat gun. Do I need to buy extra wiring for this or should I already have all the wiring? Where does the positive terminal go if I have to get rid of the remote solenoid? Thanks

Ok so I do indeed need a new wire? I don't have that big red wire that shares the same terminal as the positive battery cable. Also where it says 4mm stud for the black cable, mine doesn't have a post like that. It comes equipped with a wire coming out and a metal hole where my guess is I stick the copper wiring from the gauge wire making it so I have to strip the end of the black gauge wire... Does this sound all correct?

Ya I figured out why I was having so many problems. When I bought it they gave me the wrong year of starter... I just figured they upgraded the starters so the solenoid was with it next to the gearbox. I have it figured out now and it is much easier lol
