I put some Autolite 764's in my Roush stg 3 stang (supercharged). I gapped them to .35 for the supercharger. The car runs great all the time except at idle. It idles ok but it is kinda rough. Running the small gap, I know I will have a rough idle and I dont want to open it as the car is putting out 9lbs of boost. I heard Denso's can be gapped higher (.44 or so) and still be fine on a supercharged car with stock ignition. To do this i would spend $100.00 for the plugs. Is this the better way to go or do i need to keep my current plugs and go with a plasma booster or MSD? What do you think?

I may be wrong here...but don't you need to run a colder plug with a blower..or is that just with nitrous? The 764 is the stock heat range, same thing I run in my na 01gt.

I believe that the 764 is one heat range colder than stock. But I may be wrong.

I gapped .32 with the ford svo roots, and I'm running the ford (one step colder) plugs.

Car idles great, except it might idle a little rough for a minute on those cooler (32F) days... expected with the colder plugs I hear.
