Roughly $300 to play with, spend it for me.

Well, I got some graduation money...just about $300 I should be getting alittle more to play around with, so probably around $350 within next week.

I wanna make a nice street car, but retain the value of a good daily driver.

With that said I was thinking the following

1) Magnapack Catback (although I really cant fathom spending $330 for maybe like 1rwhp, but the packs do sound awesome )

2) Some cosmetic mods... chin spoiler, tints and what else??

3) Suspension: H&R SuperSports..

I need ideas. Thanks

Get lowering springs and a front end alignment. Lowering the car makes a huge difference in it's appearance!

LOL, I thought u were going with the dynomax mufflers already?

If you get it welded for free, I'd say go with those and H&R SS. If you're on a budget you don't need CC plates, but rather a little bolt (forgot what it's called) that you can get at NAPA that'll return the alignment back to stock settings.

i think it kinda depends on what u wanna do with the car at the moment. make it go faster, make it sound better/louder, or make it look better? thats where u should start from and go from there

i personally would go for a mid pipe, but its up to u on what u wanna do

Well, I was going to go with the Dynomax's but there not SS.

H&R SuperSports ($190)

so that leaves $110 to play around with.

Will I need new cc plates and all, its a brand new 04 GT only 2000 miles..

i would go with gears, i got my 4.10s for around 300 with the install, they were frpp gears 2, i had a ford tech do it after hours and man did he do a good job

Forget all of that stuff, get a Dr gas O/R X pipe and some MIL elims... It will own every other nod you get besides cams/head/FI. EASILY at that. The car will feel insane, trust me.

Yeah, yeah Dr. Gas....the do-it-yourself-midpipe. I mean, nice as it may be, it's just another midpipe. The added labor of this midpipe (over the initial cost) makes it a not-so-attractive buy. How insane can it make the car feel? Do you think it'll beat the feel of 4.10s or 4.30s?

I'd say supersports springs and cc plates. Throw in the chin spoiler whenever you have the extra cash.

Yes, hands down...gears AND chip combined didnt even match the power/feel that the Dr gas added. You obviously dont know how it works, go here www.drgas.com and learn something. I have done almost every bolton you can, and that midpipe is amazing. Best bang for you buck, I GAURENTEE you that a 2 stock GTs line up, 1 has 4.30 gears and the other has a DR gas X, both on slicks...the Dr gas car WILL beat it.Ofcourse JMO and thats all this argument will ever be LOL. Gears and chip took me from 13.7 to a 13.5 with a much better 60 ft. Dont get me wrong, gears are a worthwhile mod and definatly rate as the 4 mods I recommend (shifter,chip,midpipe, and 3.73 gears) to all people. Now 4.10s i cant recomend as their cruizing RPMs are too high for some people. 3.73s are user friendly all the way around. Look at these boards, tons of people have 4.10s and some 4.30s, are their 1/4 times worlds better than the rest of us? Nope. But yea, for the adverage person its not worth the hassle of welding the thing up, take the 5HP or so loss and buy a complete one. Whats cool is there was almost 0 loss in lowend torque, only below about 1500RPMs but just a tad. Too bad im going to have to get rid of it when I buy HPs TTs.

Obviously, I DO know about Dr Gas - enough to know it's a nice midpipe, a unique design (crossover is as far forward as possible), but pricey and comes to you in a box, as a weld together kit. Been there, seen that.

With H&R SS, most likely you will need either CC plates.. or if you're on a budget- camber bolt kit at NAPA. $12 each. you'll need 2. They don't give the adjustability of CC plates, but most mustang drivers don't take it out to the track for road racing and therefore don't need the adjustability of CC plates.
