Rounded starter bolt

Anybody ever round the top starter bolt? Any suggestions on getting it out? I bought one of those rounded bolt kits from Sears, man was that a waste. Anybody have any real suggestions?

is it the upper or lower bolt?

if it's the lower, maybe a cutoff wheel, pull the starter and deal with drilling it out of the bell.

Apply Vise Grips, Remove Bolt, Replace Bolt

weld a nut to the existing bolt head...and the heat will help the old one come out easier

I think that everybody has had the same problem the that bolt before.

Nor I.....Im suprised that rounded bolt kit didnt work for you. I have one and it worked great for me.
