yes that is for our cars. i love it. it might even be able to enable me to make my hood scoops functional.

i just wonder how you are supposed to get the maf up there under the filter.

fwiw, it didn't sell, the time ran out and noone bid the reserve.

Probably the best looking intake ever made. Those are very very rare. The kit when it was release was like $2000. Came with a new hood and all.

The HP improvements being touted in the ad sound ridiculously optimistic to me, but it's a winner in the looks department for sure.

No it doesn't. The throttle body is in there but the MAF stays in the stock location.

ok, so what happens to the air that goes through the filter then? does it go from there to the maf and then back to the t/b?

it does seem a bit far fetched, but i remember back in the day when you could buy those and the BXR's that they both made a ton of power.

they just didn't take off cuz of price--if i can find it i will show you the BXR home page(someone copied it off the internet a while back) they dynod 50 rwhp on a stock 95 LONGBLOCK!!!!

i like the roush intake--pretty sure you have to have the hood otherwise it is useless.

i love the bxr and always keep my eyes open for a complete setup for sale.

Like others have said, the hp gains seem a bit inflated. Especially saying that if you have GT40 heads, you can expect a gain of 100hp....sorry I gotta call on that until I see proof lol.

Aside from that, very cool lookin intake, I wonder if anybody has ever ran a S/C setup through one, and how that would work with the unusual filter location.

It has a custom lower intake too ...

I'm still waiting for an answer to my question about what the filter is for.

Vib says the MAF is not relocated into the intake, so where the h3ll does the air that goes through the filter go?

I wonder if it would fit under my 1996 Cobra hood?

MAf does get relocated. directly infront of the TB. I will find pics of it on the old car.
