Roush Crate Motors

I read in a couple magazines that Roush debuted a few crate motors at the SEMA show this year. Anyone know anything further about these and how ungodly expensive (like the other Roush stuff) they will be? Just wanting some more info.

BTW - I"m lazy, so I haven't really looked around myself yet for more info.

Haven't heard anything about them yet. I bet their prices are out of control.

In the usual mustang magazines, roush has advertised a 347 xrate for a while now. I thinks it around $5500. And It puts out over 400 I think.

But keep in mind that a motor that can be dropped in and started right away. I cant wait to see the prices on the 427. It'l probably go for over what I paid for my car. LOL

Yeah, but wouldn't it be bada** to have a 427 Mustang. At least I think so...

that picture is actually fuel injection. Hilborn style. look closely the blue thing in the middle is the fuel rails and you can see part of one of the injectors.

Actually it says on the Roush webasite that all the engines and components are available in show quality polish. For a few extra pennies of course
