ran into a guy with a stage 2 roush today and made me remember racing him a couple months ago. i beat the crap out of him. and my car was stock other than the tri-ax and a K&N filter. is it normal for a stock gt to beat a stage 2? im assuming his was stock, but regardless he was pissed off after i beat him and he was still looking at me funny. but shouldnt he have beaten me, bad??? im not sure what exactly roush does to these things so maybe someone can clue me in.

Thanks. Spike.

i "THINK" a stage 2 roush is nothing more that a GT with a bodykit, wheels and upgraded suspension and brakes... nothing for HP... "IF" thats the case, that fact that ur lighter should put u in the lead

The only thing different they do is tweek the suspension and do cosmetics. No ngine work. I went and looked at one to buy and wasn't impressed. I do like the side exhaust though,

According to Roush Performance a stage II is nothing more that a GT with a body kit. It has the side exhaust but I dont know if that has any additions to hp or not. The stage III is the one with the blower.

I'm a proud owner of a Roush Stage II. There is no difference between a GT and a Stage II other than suspension, body kits, brakes, side exhaust, wheels and tires. The motor is the same. Probably the GT is much lighter. Hey, but I'd race you with my Stage II...I bet the outcome would be a different story...LOL.

I raced a Roush Stage one once... a yellow 6banger/auto with side exhaust! But it was pretty close

Roush only adds a CAI, performance wise. Then of course, the body kit, rims, and supspension.
