Ok I'm sure somebody out there has done this install before and knows this part I'm stuck on is probably ridiculously easy. I recently put on a Roush Stage III fascia, and the install went smoothly, save one thing.... The damn harnesses for the roush foglights don't match up with the harnesses for the Gt foglights. I'[m supposed to modify the existing harnesses somehow. I was prepared for this, as I'd heard it would be this way if I wasn't running a 2000+ model Mustang, but I never noticed that the only guy who documented an install just said :Ok this is the hardest part.... Just de-pin the connectors and slide the new harness into place. That's pissing me off because it is so vague. Am I just supposed to clamp down on the wires and yank the shell off or what? Nobody seems to know how to explain it, so they just give me the form answer, "de-pin the connectors".... Well I'm no electrical engineer, so anybody who can put this into simpler terms for me would be most welcome and appreciated. Please help me out! -Ron

1) Find the smallest flat head screw driver that you have.
What you have to do is take the cap off of the fog light harness that is already on the car....this is done by pushing down on the "raised" part of the metal pin. Apply some presure and it should slide out (but i will tell you that this takes some patience)... Then just put the metal pins into the harnesses supplied by Roush and it should work out fine....If this doesn't help you hit me up with a PM and I will try to help you out.

I like Pro3 and all I got was this crappy CT.
use testlight needle. worked best for me. there is metal clip that you need to push down for plung to come out. U use needle(works better then small screw driver), and from front, u should be able to see pin i'm talking about. stick needle point between connector, and top of metal plung. then while u pulling on it gently, u push the metal clip down. u might bend plug. don't worry about it. once its out, u can fix it. its hard to explain. but thats how it comes out.

Thanks so much for your help, I really do appreciate it! However, after another look at it today and using your advice, I'm still not a whole lot closer to figuring it out. Please forgive my lack of understanding, I'm mechanically inclined, but I have no electrical inclinations whatsoever! I just can't figure out which metal prongs are what... And which direction I should push them...Also, am I supposed to end up with nothing but wires in the end, or does this shell separate somewhere I can't see? I don't really know what I can ask you all to do in order to help me... You've been great already. I guess I might just be out of luck until I get some kind of epiphany and it just all makes sense to me.
