That's what you want, MTL that is made for manual transmissions that take automatic tranny fluid. They have the right stuff for good synchro operation.
I have read tests where Royal Purple went against Amsoil and lost. I would run a synthetic over regular any day. In case you hadn't guessed I run Amsoil.
For those of you not wanting to spend the money for synthetic engine oil go to Walmart. They have their "House" brand "Super Tech" which I looked into on their MSDS sheets and it is made by a company that owns Pennzoil and Quaker state. It comes in quarts or a 5qt jug that is like less than $14 or under $3 a quart for full synthetic! No reason not to have synthetic

I run this oil in all my daily driver cars.
