RPM II vs RPM

I was just wondering if anyone here has had both of these intakes Edelbrock's rpm and Edelbrocks Rpm II. Im looking into getting the rpm II because of the power band difference from the performer just wanted to make sure before i burn some of my money lol. Also wondering which would be best for a S/C and is a 70mm tb the best for it? Thx for your time you guys couple of posts in the past have helped me

I'm curious too what the benefits of an RPM II are, or why anyone would go with the RPM if buying either now.

Whats your combo? Whats your plans? Assuming a stock engine, a performer is a better choice. I prefer 70-75mm tb's depending on what the manifold opening is. If its smaller, dremel it open to fit the bigger tb's. If m guess is correct as to where your looking to go, the 70mm should be enough.

RPM II has a completely different design. the only advanage to having the RPM is that the lower is the same as the performer so you could switch between the performer and the RPM by just changing the upper.
I like the RPM II, it has decent low end power and above 3.5k it really comes alive. I have a 93 coupe so its not a heavy car. I think the RPM II would be a better choice for N/A or for a Blower car. But like grn92lx said if your car has stock heads the performer intake would be better. My times are int the sig. no dyno numbers yet and my car is smog legal with ac and all options.

I run the RPM II and it has work wonders for me, and BTW the lower is not the same as the RPM the runners are much bigger. In fact when I first purchased my II they had no upper plenum gaskets and I had to trim an RPM one with a blade to make it fit.

I'm going to sell mine if you want to make an offer and also the opening is about 75MM stock, 90 in mine, to match my custom elbow, which is 90mm. IT was made for my 80mm TB but bigger for when I try a 90TB. Again every combo is different but I'm sure you won't regret the II, I ran it on my P combo with great results. I'm going with a Victor!!!!!!!!!!

How much for the RPM II intake? Knowing that you dremeled open the inlet is a plus since I run a 75mm TB. Hmm, if I buy yours I could try a 90mm TB, hmm. PM me a price, please. All I would need to buy is gaskets, right?

what year car did you run the rpm II is it a 94-95GT,if so did it clear the stock hood,the reason i ask is that I just got the rpmII intake and im running a stock hood wanted to know if it would clear.thanks.
