I am looking at ordering the Drag Pac from RPM. I am thinkin about goin for the SCT 3 and the C&L CAI and the Moto blue pulleys. My question is since this is a kit. Will the SCT 3 come with pre-loaded tunes to work with that cold-air? I am going to have Strickley Performance tune the car next month. I just thought until get it dyno tuned it would be nice to see if I could tell a difference with a pre-loaded tune if it even comes with one. I here it comes with 3 already loaded. I already have 3:73's installed and I picked up a set of charge motion plates the other day. I cant wait to see how this bad boy runs with its all done!! Guess all I will need is a drive shaft and lite wheels and she'll be ready for the track. By the way this is all for my wifes daily driver!! haha

Stay far away from RPM Outlet. Too many people, myself included, have had terrible experiences with them.

Here's plenty of links where you can see what type of troubles people have had.

Not to mention, I dunno who does their tunes, but you're a lot better off going with Brenspeed or Bamachips. If you're wanting to buy underdrive pullies along with your intake and tune, you can get all 3 from Brenspeed. You'll spend a little more, but you get what you pay for. His tunes are fantastic, and the Steeda pullies are of the highest quality.

You'll be lucky if you even get a SCT for a Mustang! I ordered a C&L CAI + SCT2 a year or so ago (before finding the wisdom of Stangnet) and received a used (scratched & dirty) SCT2 for a F150... So listen to what DarkFire said above.

I too was thinking of ordering from RPM Outlet because of their low prices, pulleys, exhaust, and panhard bar. I did the same as you and posted the question and got several responses to stay far away from them. Well anyway, another member offered to sell me their brand new MOTO-BLUE pulleys, which I purchased. The rest of the negative responses led me away from RPM Outlet and towards BRENSPEED. I ordered my exhaust from BRENSPEED and had the product delivered in 1 day, along with great communication, and knowledgable sales/technical staff. Because of this I just ordered more parts from them, a Steeda adjustable panhard bar, JLT II CAI and SCT Tuner/Custom Tunes.

So, if I were you I would go with a TRUSTED and RELIABLE source for your parts, plus BRENSPEED will specifically makes tunes for the mods that you have. And if you ever add other mods, they will send you new custom tunes for free (as long as your original Tuner was purchased through them)!

They don't have a store front, that is how they claim they keep their prices so low.

I wouldn't support them even if they did. You may not get bad service in person, but you would still be supporting them. They are among the worst companies to do business with.

Quite often they do drop ship from vendor, whch hey is fine but IMO just leads me t think I should go with someone who handles the gear like I dunno, the vendor or a shop like Brenspeed or Bama that actually does installs and works with the stuff.

I could become a parts wholesaler like RPM tomorrow if I wanted only difference would be is I wouldn't make screwing buyers my modus operandi.

Do a search on here for my name and RPM and you'll see a fantastic horror story.
