there are a couple of guys on the board that have them and have nothing but good thing to say about them. i presonally don't like McPherson strut setups but that's just my opinion

Yes. I've had it in for a couple of years now. The quality of manufacture is very good. It is a *very* easy install. For me it was just drilling 6 bolt holes and putting it in place of the stock UCA setup. I needed to fiddle with the brake lines a little as I had a custom setup in place.

Whats more, their warranty is good too. I had a KYB shock die and start making a noise when the setup was out of warranty and they still replaced it no hassles. (Granted this was local as compared to you being in the USA).

My setup is between a current phase 1 and 2 setup. I have the twin spot calipers with KYB's.

Also you guys in the US may be able to adapt a set of cobra mustang calipers to the RRS setup to get a cheaper 345mm setup. I have been curious about doing this myself but the distance and shipping has dissuaded me so far. Also the twin spot brakes have had no trouble at all at the track so I haven't really felt the need.

RRS Great stuff

I have had them in my 65 for 2 years and they are great quality. They will make your car brake and ride like a new car. I also had a small issue with one of the brake rotors and the company has bent over backwards to make sure that I was happy. (they sent a new set of rotors from AUS at no charge to me) I would recommend them to anyone looking for a front end upgrade. Keep in mind that they inculde new spindles and tie rod ends. On the 65-66 mustangs they are a direct bolt in. No drilling required. Taking the old stuff out will take you alot more time than installing the new. I installed both sides in less than 2 hours. I would recommend rack and pinion to go with the new struts.

on a 65

I installed phase I on a 65 fastback including the rack and pinion. Also used the rear disks kit. Easy install. Jeff answered any questions I had quickly and well. I used a 57 ford 9" rear and had to swap axles to make it work. No biggy. I've driven car a few times (completed as winter started) and love the set up. Drives great with the r&p and handles great with the RRS front end. Easy install. Other than the price.............. It's great.
