Alright guys, if I lock the wheel while turning left, my passanger side front tire is rubbing on my sway bar. Whats causing this? I looked at the tire and it took about a half inch groove out of the inside of my front tire. Im running 18x9 wheel with 265/35/18 tire. There are also wheel spacers on the front and rear, looks to be about 1/4 inch but im not 100% sure. I just got the car a month ago.

because a 265 is way to wide for the front without major modifications. i wouls recommend no more than a 245, and 255 tops.

My stock 245/45/17's did the same thing. All it does is polish the sway bar. Don't worry about it. And 265s aren't too big.

Had that problem on my car with it being lowered and putting wider tires on the front. You need bigger rack limiters, if you pull back the boot thats just inboard of the tie rods and turn the wheels to the opposite side you will see a lplastic c-clip looking thing, the stock ones are about 1/4 inch wide, (they actually measured in mm's) you need some slightly wider. It was a few years ago that I changed mine and cant remember the part number. WIll have to do some research, the dealership had no idea what I was talking about, had to find the part nbumbers through internet searching and order online. No more rubbing though, restricts your turning radius slightly, need to figure out what size you have and go one size bigger.

yeah but when i pulled the wheel off, there was a noticable groove out of the tire about half an inch wide and a chunk out of the sway bar.
