Running a little hot after prochamber install

I just replaced my cats with an offroad prochamber now when I am cruising around it seems to be running hotter than it did before.Someone said I might need to change the thermostat.Has anyone had any problems with the new nuts going on at the header studs I am using the stock ones but they are worn out and all the new ones seem to small

Is it actually reading hotter on the temp. guage?

If you are smelling anything, it is the coating curing from the heat of the exhaust on the new pipe/coating.

Check coolant level first, even though I do not know why that would be an issue
