Running new distributor (vacuum adv)

Has anyone removed the stock distributor in place of a mechanical/vacuum advance version? Then after the change piped it into an aftermarket ignition. No SPOUT connection included in this setup. Just good ol reliable EEC free ignition.

The computer would throw a CE light for the missing SPOUT signal.

there is not CE for missing spout...i have run with out one...and vac adv isn't very reliable worst then EEC...especaily if your going to run boost....stick with the EEC and get a tuner like tweceer

maynot for th e spout but mine throws a code and stores it whenever i take it out to change the timing.
