Runs like crap, let it idle and it rips

ok i'm having a problem with a 95 gt. When i start it up it some times stalls. Idles rough, misses and sputters, drive it same thing gas milage is crap. Heres the kicker though if i let it idle for 5 minutes it has all the power it used to have.

i check the codes and it has a few continous memory code and no koer codes.

172 - Heated Oxygen sensor indicates lean condition, right side
176 - Heated Oxygen sensor indicates lean condition, left side
181 - Adaptive fuel rich limit reached at part throttle, right side
189 - Adaptive fuel rich limit reached, left side

I did a search and found a post EXACTLY LIKE MINE and the only help it provided was check for vacume leaks, and check fuel pressure. I didn't find any vacume leakes, i don't have a gauge i just looked and listend. I will check fuel pressure tomarow, i ran out of time tonight.

What are the odds that we are throwing the same codes and it being o2 sensors??

Well the O2's are ignored at cold startup. The computer doesn't start reading them until they reach 600*f. Another thing is, they are also ignored under WOT, go out and make a few WOT passes, and if it still runs like crap, then it's most likely not the O2's.

You can get a can of carb cleaner and spray all your vacuum lines, and manifold seals to check for vacuum leaks. While it's idling, say you spray one of your intake gaskets, if the idle raises, there's a vacuum leak there. It's sucking in the carb cleaner through the leak and burning it.

You might check out your MAF, it's a long shot, but my car ran like crap for a while, and it ended up being my MAF, even though it didn't throw any codes. Good luck.
