Runs like poop when cold!

Car: 1988 mustang GT, 92k miles

Problem1: When I cold start the car the idle is bouncy, up and down a few hundered rpm's. Until it gets warmed up it stumbles a bit when driving it around until fully warm. Then, the car idles perfect at around 700 or so and no more stumbling when warm.

Problem 2: is if I turn on the AC. The AC compressor just keeps clicking on and off and will cause the idle to bounce around.

Replaced maintence items: Wires, plugs, cap and rotor

Motor: Full stock 302 SD

What should I be looking for to fix these issues?

Problem 1) Clean the IAC. How-to's for this can be found by searching, and there may still be a sticky about fixing idle up at the top of the thread list.

Problem 2) Probably have low refrigerant and are in need of a recharge. The compressor will cycle like that when it's low, to keep it from burning up.
