I am planning to do some brake upgrades. I found a four wheel set of Russell SS brake lines, four speed bleeder screws and free shipping for $165. Is this a good deal? I really don't need the speed bleeders because I have a vacuum bleeder but they come in the set. I am also looking at EBC GreenStuff pads and EBC slotted rotors.

In the past I have always found SS lines to be a nice up-grade. As for the rotors, I think you get what you pay for. With the pads, there are so many out there you just need to have an idea of what you want to comprimise and jump in and try a set. I think you should be happy with the EBC's. btw where did you find the SS lines?

I have not found the SS lines for the rear of my 02 vert. However, I did install the Russell's for the front along with the speed bleeders (don't need the wife to pump the brakes anymore). I really like the set up. I paid like $95 for the front lines and bleeders - with shipping. Get the EBC greenstuff pads. I have them with my slotted/crossdrilled rotors and they really stop my Pony. The EBC's are $69 a pair at Tire Rack.
