I have an old Y-block cast iron intake manifold that I want to clean up. I doubt the bead blaster will be able to get all in the inside of the manifold, so what is the best method of removing the rust from the inside?
ID guess you could get a plastic pan/container and fill it up high enough to cover the intake manifold with muratic acid (pool supply) . That would get it out of there . Just be careful of the fumes as they can KO you .
