Not too bad. Your rear bumper looks like mine! I have to repaint it, so it's all sanded down until I get that done!

Hey ryan, when taping up for primer, dont spray the primer right up to to the tape line, its gonna be a huge pita to sand that edge out to make it smooth again.

Actually the electric fans only suck about 3 amps or so from the battery. It adds up to about 1/4 hp
And if you really want to talk about hp, taking a fan off (dont forget the rotation equation) you gain back about 2 or 3 hp at least. Not bad if you ask me

Oh, I forgot I did those. I got so used to them. I think they're awesome! Especially since blue is my favorite color. All tribute goes to Milhouse for the idea and instructions!

Yeah me too. I had to lighten up the picture alot. In the dark area, switch the bulb around. They're polarised, so just turn it 180* and that should fix the problem.

Unless you have the 3g upgrade the electric fan will drain your battery and kill your altenator.. Ive had to help a friend push start his car many a times because of this problem.. And not to burst your buble but you be lucky to make 2 HP from an electric fan swap.. You still have the waterpump pully on so it still turning that pully..

so if your sitting in traffic, using ac, and your coolant is in good shape, and your temp still climbs, what can you do, without doing a 3g/elec. fan swap?

oh and ryan, i like your progress allot. better idea to get the entire deck lid, other than filling all the rack holes, fixing rust, ect... i love your intake plaque, i ordered a cool one on ebay, but its actually upside down, and i didnt notice it until i tried installing it. so if i was to install it it would face my firewall. it made me mad. i really like yours though.

How high is it climbing? Maybe your stock fan clutch is worn or try hittinf the gas to spin it. I would sit in florida heat for hours and my car would climb but never overheat. I would rev it once in a while and you would see the temp drop.. Turned out my radiator was clogged..

So...if id killed your alternater and battery, you couldnt really push-start it because it wouldnt run...at all. Yeah, you'll have the waterpump pullley, but you wont have a spining fan.

If your friends car died because of an electric fan, then he's got some problems with his car. Are you sure the battery wasnt already about to die?

Thats like turning on your lights to drive at night an having your car die because of it.
