I also have a ? on my keyless entry. I am pretty sure i have the stock keyless entry but i also have an alarm installed, but i dunno if either of them work or anything because i don't have the key fobs. My lights on my rear-view mirror come on when i open the door. i looked in the trunk but didn't check all the way down beneath the plastic cover but there were wires running through there? so if i bought a key fob do u think it would connect?

Try to provide more info. Like does it whine while turning, only going straight. Only in gear, only at some given RPM. Etc.

Remember, all that stuff is in your sub-conscience but we dont have a clue from our little keyboards.

For Keyless, most installers seem to tap into the lock wiring in the driver side rocker panel. If you get down there and see the lock wires tapped into (with a fuse tap or a soldered Tee), that suggests factory keyless. If you see that two wires were cut and legs of wiring run from each cut wire, that suggests no factory keyless or a retard installer. Your dome light thing suggests keyless to me.

Good luck.

Hey well it whines while it is just starting up and then whenever i go and i drive only it town so i don't know if it is cold starts or not. i don't drive far. but it whines pretty loudly.

I will check into the keyless.

Also i have one more issue! (probably got tons more) but this issue is when i let go of the throttle the car like jerks a lil and seems to slow down right after lettin go of the throttle but lasts only for a lil bit right after letting go of the gas. anyone got a clue there?

When I stand in back of my car when it is running I hear a loud whine. It sounds like its part of the exhaust but I know it's not. Maybe its the fuel pump? I don't know.

several whines man... you need to narrow down the location

some of the most common are:
-fuel pump (sounds like it's coming from underneath the rear seat)
-smog pump (under the alternator) or alt
-squeaky pulley - try spraying some wd40 on different pullies to see if it's an easy fix
-you might just have a loose belt

I will check it out then, but i also gotta a question on my throttle problem. I hit the gas and it shifts nice and good but then when i am driving around and i let off the gas the car seems to slow down for a second like with a lil jerk. i dunno if that is normal or not but it is a little bit of a different feeling. so anywayz it is a lil tug forwards everytime you let off the gas. Also i think that if it isn't the squeaky pulley then it could be the fuel prob. cuz i have lack of gas it seems like that gets to the engine which causes me to stall at stop lights on cold starts but it could also be the IAC (from earlier thread with help of HISSIN)
