Not just S197 but 07' Shelby GT500 black leather seats. The local yard has a wrecked car with near mint seats. Why should I not spend the $400 to buy these? From what I assume, the Shelby seats should be lighter than your typical GT seats and shouldn't be full power, right? I've read, from @hsean and others, that you just mount these seats using the stock fox seat tracks and my ride comfort is 1000x better. Please help me decide.

Also, the $400 price tag is for both front seats and the rear seat

buy them.. The fronts are not true bolt in as the 197 brackets need some tweaking/fab work or as you said need to swap in the fox brackets, and of course the rears won't fit as is.. but they are plenty comfy...

After thinking about it, why not get the whole powertrain while there? A fine upgrade it will be..

It did cross my mind. The car had a hard front impact. I'll inquire about it on Monday when I talk to them again. When I talked to them earlier they could find all the seats but the passenger seat.
