Has anyone here driven a new gt and noticed huge differences in quality.

Does the S197 only handle better then the SN95 chassis because of the torque arm? Or is it the fact that the car is larger/ designed better.

If I were to throw a torque arm onto a sn95 would it handle similar to the s197?

Im just wondering if theres a night and day difference between the 2 chassis.

well first off the 197 does not have a torque arm, it has a 3-link with panhard bar(you need an f-body if you want a factory torque arm).

the handling on the 05 i drove was not that much better than a drop springed SN.

if you were to do a torque arm, phb, coil-overs, your car would outhandle a 197 that had a sorted out suspension.

there is a big diff between the 2 chassis, but not a big enough one our aftermarket can't overcome.

Build quality of any 04-current Ford Vehicle is Worlds ahead of any older ford. They almost seem European..I am truly impressed with ford's build quality.
