I bought a 01 Saleen supercharged last month - does anyone else have the same car - how much boost does the charger give? Mine goes to 5ish - Is there a way to tweak around with the boost pressure ?
That's about right. The only way to change boost on the Series II is to change the pulley to a smaller one. This does require a new tune though. The other risk is the stock 4.6 will not handle much boost before breaking a piston.
inter cooler stays pretty cool - I haven't yet tried pushing the car for a while. when i got the car - the intercooler wasnt working ( i didnt know that ) and the temps would rise in a few mins...got the intercooler running and now - it stays very cool - the needle hardly moves now...
