im getting a nitrous kit from a friend and i gotta buy the braided line from the bottle to the jet, my question is this hes a pretty hardcore stang banger but there a lot of you guys to ask so i want your opinions. my 94 pretty bone stock he says i can safely run a 100 shot (wet kit) on a stock motor i dont really care if i gernade the motor an excuse to build my new one:D but i want it to last till i get my car painted whats your guys thoughts?

i ran an untuned converted carb kit 150 wet shot (unsafe, YES!) for a year and a half with no problems. this was from like 90k-110k. At 115k my motor had blowby on 2 cylinders fron a couple bad rings and oil blows evywhere.

some people with better kits and less of a shot have WAY more miles than me and everything is fine. but it only takes once lol

you can safely run a 125 shot on a stock motor but as stated above watch your timing it should be ok at 10*also ensure you have the necessary safety equipment window switch, wide open throttle switch and fuel pressure switch in place for safe operation...

detonation is the enemy. i have a zex wet 125hp and at only 93000 my motor decided it was bored having all straight connecting rods. new motor hasnt had any problems. timing/ignition/plugs/fuel system may have helped it stay alive and some forged parts deep inside.
