I know the Shelby will be the BEST buy and will hold it's value the most BUT realistically (due to not being able to purchase a Shelby) which one of these 3, Saleen, Roush, or Cervini is 1) the best buy (for the money spent) AND 2) which one of these three will hold it's value the MOST ???

Thank-you, in advance, for your polls/answers.

the saleen or roush..Cervini is just a body molding company making stick on parts for the car and adding some other companies performance products...nothing special

+1, but I'd say Saleen would be worth a little more because they have been around longer (making mustangs I mean) and they only produce a certain number of them, while Roush you can take your mustang there and they'll put what ever you want on it.

except the saleen has a WAY ugly back!

I agree. I just bought a 2006 stage 2 Roush. Vista blue with white stripes. I love the car. Before I bought it I looked at both the Saleen mustangs and the Roush mustangs. In the previous mustang body style 1999-2004 mustangs, I liked the saleens much better. However for the new '05 / '06 mustangs I personally like the Roush stangs much much better. The Saleen's are still nice looking but I feel they made it look too much like a european car by taking off all the front headlights and yes, I agree the back is very ugly with the big black plastic piece in between the taillights. I think the Roush mustangs keep the retro muscle look but still add eye catching visuals.

Also if you get a stage 2 or stage 3 Roush, you will be getting a very limited edition car. These cars as well as the stage 1's and sports are all also numbered by Roush. The Roush serial number is just on the inside of the passenger side door rather than on the front fender. If you look at the Roush production numbers for 2005, they only made 26 stage 2 Roush mustangs that are serialized from Roush. And if you only want a stage 1 or sport, Roush only makes about 2800 total roush mustangs per year.

So if you are looking for limited production cars I'd go with Roush or Saleen. I'd recommend to you to pick the car YOU like best. In my opinion I like the Roush mustangs better after spending a while shopping around and doing research. However you may be different and like the Saleen's better. They are both great looking cars and are very similar. Anyway thats just my advice.
Goodluck deciding

I vote Saleen (of course) and if you are looking for rare and performance get the Saleen Extreme. You won't need to modify it. It already comes with 4.10 gears, HD aluminum driveshaft, lightweight flywheel, big brakes and so on that produces 550hp!! If you can't afford the Saleen Extreme you can always get the regular SC and upgrade the enigne with the "extreme" parts kit and get 475-500hp for $1,000.

I've seen several Saleens with the head rests all messed up, like the luver pieces. Then the recall on the mufflers cause stuff was coming apart inside. haha Cut corners too??
The headrest louvers and the exhaust were early '05 problems and are now all fixed. As for the $5.00 short throw shifter, it may be inexpensive, but it is one of the nicest shifters I've had.

Say-Leeeeeeeeeeeeeen

When you look at a Saleen closely you can see that a ton of engineering and thought went into thier designs. Clean lines with a slight european touch. Some of the Rousch parts tend to look like the are straight from the JC Whitney catalog, Although Roush's colored seats are Very sweet.
