Roush Saleen Skirts -> HELP!

I need to attach area #1 to the bottom of the door sill area:

It has been mentioned to use screws but I don't see how that will work, becuase as in the image, say that the skirts was mounted as is...how will you get a screwdriver to that area?

The factory clips didn't work. How did you install yours? Can you share some pics or information.
