I hope that someone out there can help me with what could become an installation issue. I am going to install a Saleen Series II supercharger on my 1999 GT. It has the 35th anniversary, limited edition hood, very much like the hood they started using on all GT's in 2001. Am I going to have a clearance issue with this hood once I install the supercharger? I have already thought about replacing it anyway with a heat extraction type hood, as I know that these blowers like to have as much cool air as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BTW: I know that the Series II is not the most efficient or most desired blower, but it fit my budget. I threw a 66 mm Chicane pulley on it and their more efficient innercooler. Other than that, I was looking for drivability and looks most of all. I had the entire blower and lower intake show polished out at Steigemeier.
