Salt flat racers

I am going to use these on my 67 coupe. Was wondering if anyone has done this and if you have pics. I was thinking of going with 17 9.5 in the rear and 17/7 in the front. no power steering so the more narrow tire will/should make it easier to turn at a stop. I think this setup will look awsome on my black car and be very different. what do you guys think?

I think they look awesome. Someone has posted a pic of a car on here before with those wheels, but they were using the fully polished model, which I personally prefer. I obviously don't know whether that person will post, but I can tell you the wheels were real attention grabbers, and I also checked them out.

I would stay away from anything too wide. You don't need to try to dead hook from the line. the wide tires will add to the aerodynamic drag this car already has a problem with.
