Yeah well i have 275/50R/17 M&H tires which are about at least an inch taller than stock, and i have 3:55 gears so that is droppin my gear.

I still cannot hook better than a 2.0 which is only giving me a 13.90 @ 100mph.

I tried tire pressure from 22 pounds all the way to 15pounds. And i hooked the best w/ 15pounds. At 22, the car would leave and then die down right after launch, too much tire most likely for the car to turn since the car is stock and w/ 3:55 gears.

I tried leaving the line hard, soft, etc. Did a lot of testing. I think my problem is the loss of gear.

Can i get some input?

I'm thinking about swaping out the 3:55's for 4:10's, that should improve using these 275/50's.

Future plans for the car include: SCT Tune + CAI + 4:10's. Looks like i may need to hold on to the tires until i have more horsepower and a bigger gear to get use out of them.

if it is bogging on the line, you are dropping the clutch too fast, or at too low of RPM. try leaving at a higher RPM.

what RPM are you launching at now?

Suspension helps ALOT.

Suspension helps ALOT.

Upper and lower controller arms (adj) will plant your power to your wheels sooner and more efficiently.

Our rear suspension is rather 'wishy-washy' to say the least!

ive tried all different rpms,

most success is between 3,000-4,000rpms w/ 15 psi

= 13.90 @100mph w/ 2.0 60foot.

someone told me my gears are killin me w/ a tall tire, may need 4.10 or 4.30's.
