Same Problems once again

damn it when i cleaned the MAF a few weeks ago it seemed so proimising. She was runnin like a champ and before i did that, she was spittin out check engine light's every minute. Now its the same symptoms, car is again slower than molasses in the winter time. Only now no check engine light. I wonder if it is possible for the MAF to get all gunked up that fast again or should i just replace the SOB this time? Maybe its a fuel issue.

If you cleaned your air filter, oil may have gotten back on the maf wire. Other than that I dont know, Just cleaned mine and my dieing while going into gear is fixed, as well as my car seems to be ideling higher and smoother.

Yeah when i cleaned it last time i had cleaned and oiled the k&n filter earlier that day, i guess im going to have to pull it of and clean it again.

No problem, I just oiled mine too so im am going to pull it again in a few days to clean again. I read a post before saying that if you over oil the filter it sucks through and gets caught on the maf wires. I dont know if i put a heavy or light amount on because i've never cleaned a filter before.

Thats most likly to problem though.
