stock 88 coupe, bypassed smog pump, mac exhaust. o/r bassani x pipe.
car has a crappy throttle response. cant chirp into second gear at all.major issue is every now and again when I am on the freeway 70-75 mph the car dies for a second and comes back (being in gear the car push starts itself)
yesterday the same thing happend only this time when it fired back up it felt like only half the cylinders were working. I could smell a lot of unburnt fuel. I pulled over and it sounded like it had a huge miss or only half the cylinders were working. I shut it off and turned it back on. everything back to normal. kinda at a loss. only code I get is 22 which I cant find the issue. I ran all the test given by jrichter and everything checks out. I even replaced the bao sensor and still have code 22. I guess next is to run a KOER test and see if any codes pop uo.
it seems like it is an ignition issue. I replaced all the plugs, wires, cap and rotor....
