Sanity Check... Bellhousing clutch pivot ball question

Hey guys, I just want to double check myself.

Does the bellhousing clutch fork pivot ball stud have a single lock washer from the factory? My replacement didn't come with one and I am 99% sure that the original had one on there.

Just wanted to make sure. Car is a 93 with a T-5. Centerforce dual friction clutch, new ford racing steel flywheel, oem clutch fork, etc etc

Yes it does, why are you replacing the pivot ball? Make sure you set the height the same, even if you replacing a factory one with a factory part.

The one in the used bellhousing I got looked worn and I wanted to be thorough.

The ones I have (old & new) are not adjustable units. They are loose until torqued down. Do they still need height adjustments?

just verify height to make sure they are the same...the stock ones usually are correct, the aftermarket fully adjustables have to be set up correctly

Ah makes sense. Yeah they are the same height. It was just the presence of the washer that would change it. As long as I know the washer should be there, I should be home free.
