yep, santa came to the house today. I got to feed his raindeer in the back yard of our river house. Well, some of them, the big bucks will not eat out of your hand, but the others will. Merry Christmas to all! Enjoy

at our house on the guadalupe in spring branch texas. About 20 miles north of New Braunfels and north of the canyon lake damn and in between Johnson City and Boerne.

The pictures were taken off the back patio of our house. The deer are about 10 to 15 feet away from us. We had 23 deer in the front yard when we got back from the Trans Siberian concert last night. The does(deer) will eat out of your hand(which we were doing) if they trust your property and you approach them right.

We had 3 that came on our property quite often, though I believe the neighbors dogs have finally stopped them from coming so close.

thanks man. Its really not a big deal up here. The deer are comfortable with us. , and twice a year, we get a bunch of the axis deer that come down from boerne. its really impressive to see them.

yes they do! The high fence is only in the back yard, but there are plenty of wholes through there. They arent trapped in any way.

Actually deer can get comfortable with people. Where I grew up in NY, they are protected by the Gov and you can't hunt them. They roam around and you can even feed them out of your hands.
