After opening the car up after 1k miles, the whole vally and valve train were covered in some coffe coolata space foam from the scifi channel. I cleaned everything out and installed complete new gaskets and cemented them in place around the water necks so this time i hope they didnt shift during the lower installation.

Im sure my oil pan is victim to the nasty oil/coolant/water/fuel, before i start the car im going to change the oil/filter to try to get more of that crap out. Ill be taking it easy and retuning the car after this is done.

Im wondering should i change the oil again after this or should i drive it for a week and then change it.

I am assuming since i was losing coolant it was leaking both inside and outside of the driver side head, the gasket must have been crushed/damnaged or slid down to not get a good seal. If anyone has had this happen just let me know so i can sleep at night.
 
That emulsification latte occurs when the coolant mixes with oil. Its not a bad idea to use four studs (you can make 'em out of old bolts) to keep the gaskets in place during the install. After the other bolts are in you can pull the studs out and replace with bolts. You might want to do frequent oil changes for a while. Coolant and bearings don't get along too well.

Two things can cause that

1) The gaskets do not stay in place during install
2) The lower bolts were not torqued correctly
and
Rechecked after two heat cycles

#1 ... as said above ... use 4 studs or sections of all thread in the lower intake
bolt holes to guide the lower down straight and uniform during the install.

I like to place them in the next to last hole or 1 hole before the corner hole

#2 ... do the sequence in steps and repeat until uniform tightness is obtained.
This can take 4 or more complete runnings of all the bolts

After two heat cycles ... you WILL find some lower bolts have lost their
correct tightness. Check each and every one or you could have issues
such as you encountered

Also ............

I DO use the cork end gaskets on the China walls :shock:

I use yellow 3M weather stripping adhesive to glue down the cork gaskets
on top of the China walls

I also do a pea sized dot of rtv in the four corners of the end gaskets

I've done the above more times than I can remember over the years
with intake swaps and I've NEVER had any leaking gaskets

I do not use any gasket sealer on those gaskets btw
