If y'all remember I am looking at a few scenarios with my car and taking my time. My 306 with a KB will make around the same power as a 347 with maybe more TQ.
..so if I go the route of a new engine, and pull the 306 SB and sell it for at most $1000 I will lose that money because I will have to pay for removing it and installing it..not including the $1850 I originally paid for it.
So wouldn't the smarter financial decision be to keep the 306, avoid the headache or R&R and get a good tune with a known entity (my good engine) and add a KB?
Incidently what is the worst that can happen? I blow it up and have to get a new SB right? I mean, can you hurt heads if the KB grenades the engine one day for some weird reason?
