School me on handguns, please.

oops i said high...hahaha...i was thinking an F-18 should be higher than that, iirc its ~24k lbs/hour for a F/A-18F

Our gauge on the U206 is calibrated for GPH but most of our calcs are done in lbs/hr/ftlb

where you fly the hawk out of? I've got a buddy who's looking into getting a flying slot in the gaurds. He's already got airborne, air assault and this summer he's going for sapper so...lol

I have a few pistols...

The XD is a very good gun for the money, as well as the Glock 19. The HK usp is a bit overpriced (I wish I had gotten a compact)
My daily carry lately, has been a Ruger LCP. I have gained some weight recently, and my britches no longer fit with my MTAC. I need to get on a treadmill and see if I can squeeze back into my pants again.

I'm starting to get bored with shooting pie plates at 500m with my 7mm. I'm thinking that after i get my 1911 this spring/summer that a 338 lapua is next in line for awesome long range factor.

you boy's dont have planes to worry about tho...thats worse than guns AND mustangs combined :) dad and I are currently saving up / looking for a good stearman project. After you ride in an open cockpit bipe with that radial blasting away...life on the ground just seems dull :flag:

Dude that's awesome. My uncle is a retired pilot who flew corporate jets for Kellogg's cereal. He built an RV-4 about 15 years ago and recently bought an open cockpit bi-plane. Here's a pic of both his RV-4 and his Hatz CB-1

I also grew up flying with my dad, and went to UND for aviation. Good think I changed majors before I started college though. It's tough as chit to land an airline job these days.

My only experience with the Berretta was shooting the service weapons when I was still in the mil.

It was a pos gun. But it probably was close to the end of its expected lifetime round count.

These are the two carry pieces I'm rocking. The sr9c has a sweet little trigger and a thin profile (great for an IWB carry). The lcp is your basic pocket gun, slides into your pocket and disappears nicely.

This is my Saiga AK-47 I converted myself. If you ever need a true killing workhouse, this is it.

you guys bitch about your cars sucking fuel...our 206 sucks 32 gal/hour on a performance climb and 15 on cruise. and thats at $4.95 a gallon....

No, it is just Beretta's as a whole I think. My friend and his brother both own Beretta's and both have been complete piles since day 1. Fail to feeds, improper ejections, slide not locking forward properly...we spent more time trying to find out what had gone wrong "this" time while they were shooting with us then we did actually shooting.

I flew out of Crystal airport in the north metro at a place called Flying Scotchman. It was really fun, I mainly flew 172's and an occasional 182... I f'n loved the 182 that thing really hummed.

My uncle is pretty cool, but that GD biplane of his only does 88 MPH and he has to stop and refuel every 2-3 hours, lol. I wish I could ride with him, but he put a fuel cell in the front seat to improve the range so it's only a one man plane, and his RV-4 is way too small for my tall ass.

Your dad's plane is f'n bad ass man... pretty cool that you've had some time in a T-6 and a biplane too :nice:
