School Me on New Roush Mustangs

My dad is looking at them so I have seen a few.

The 427R has 427hp, the side stripes, Roush front bumper, Roush wing, stock rear bumper, stock side skirts, and a louder dealer installed "off road" exhaust. It comes with the stage 3 suspension and18" roush wheels but does not come standard with the upgraded breaks or leather seats. They are options. (base 45K)

They have a drag pack car that comes with 430hp, 4.10 gears, two sets of wheels one with drag MT tires, a beefed up rear end with better axles, diff, etc, and a drag suspension. (around 60K) 1 of 60

Roadster. Comes SC or non, 20" wheels, two tone paint. Not sure on price since we didnt look at them much. 1 of 100

Stage III, suspension, 14" brakes, blower, 415hp, stage III body kit, 18" roush wheels, etc (base 50K)

Black Jack - Stage III all blacked out with every upgrade you can get on a stage III standard, also has 430hp from smaller pulley like drag pack. (57K) 1 of 100

Personally I would rather have the new Saleen. That front fascia on the Roush is too busy IMO. I think it has too many fog lights. Since they added the lower fog lamps, I think they shouldve changed the stock GT grille & removed the inset Fog lamps. The rest of the car looks awesome though.

I like the Stage 3 and the 427Rs, as far as HP ratings, probably 370-380 to the wheels. I think they look great, maybe im just partial cause I own a Roush. The stock exhaust sounds nasty on the new ones, not the fastest mustangs, but unusual cause you dont see them that often. More info can be found at fnsweet.com.

The Saleen imo is a helluva lot nicer and better looking, but its also a good bit more $$. The base SC version is like 55K. From what I have heard the 465hp Saleen claims are a bit over-rated.
