Hello all, new to the forum.
Had an 88 GT, 85 GT, and a 77 Cobra..all of which are gone. The one I missed the most was the four eye 85GT and I have been kicking myself for selling it the past few years.
Been on a hunt for another 85 in my area... but I came upon a 1986 that was advertised as an LX, When I looked at the car I noticed it does have an LX nose, but had the fog light slider box near the hood release, so I was pretty sure it was a GT car.. the moldings on the quarter are gone..which made me suspect even more that it was a GT car since its the only molding that was taken from the car. Verified the GT on the buck tag.
Anyway, car needs a Driver side floor pan, rear wells, shocks, struts, probably tie rod ends and ball joints...has a new rack but has a slight steering drift. car is basically stock with the exception of a fender cold air kit. bbk headers, h pipe, and flows, and 3.73 gears.
Needs quite a bit of work, but for 1800 its a nice start to what I want to make it. Looking to build a 347 powered street/strip, and I love the four eye fox look.
Anyway, looking forward to chatting with your guys while I build my ride!!
