SCT 93 tune: fan staying on

I just did a 93 tune and CAI install yesterday. Car's running great, but at some point the fan is coming on and staying on. Typically, when I pull into the garage, it might come on for a minute. It's on when I pull in and staying on...I waited 5 mins.

Any ideas?

mine does the same thing. no idea why though. your not the only one

Who have you bought these tuners from? Who tuned them?

I bought mine from excessive motorsports in va. they did the tuning when i got my 4.10's installed.

Have them send you an updated tune if you don't want the fan to stay on as long as it does.

SCT devices you can edit the paramters and lo and hi fan speed is one of the settings.

Many tuners set the low fan speed fairly low so that it's basically always running.

Like 180 lo, 192 high or something like that.

I got mine through American Muscle. I went back and figured out how to set the LOW and HIGH on temps. So far, it seems to have fixed it.
