I just got done installing a SF3 in my car , Haven't driven it yet. I don't really expect any real difference.
Anyone have one of these?

I just had to get the thing back to stock to pass inspection and boy is the car a dog without a tune! Btw you're in Houston too?

I have 93 in it and put the 93 tune in, It doesn't seem like much to me. Seems like maybe 15-25 hp.

Did you add a CAI?
Because it's an AM tune it might not be very aggressive. Try a Bama, Brenspeed or VMP tune instead, there will definitely be a difference you can feel.

I don't know what a CAI is or a AM tune and this one cost $400. So spending another $400. on a different kind of spark advance, to me is not really worth it.

When you buy the tuner from American Muscle, the tunes they give you are not their tunes. They are what is called canned tunes. They're given to them by manufacturers. They are extremely safe and make few changes.

If you purchase a tune from Bamachips or Brenspeed ($50-$75), you will see a night and day difference. A cold air intake would help, but I can guarantee that if you buy a 93 octane race tune from Bamachips, you will not be disappointed.

I know who Bama chips are (I bought one of theirs for my 06).
They will sell me a tune that I can download to my SCT hand held device?
I guess I would just call Bama, Never heard of Brenspeed.

Yep. You can order it right online at BamaChips Tuning

They sell the tunes separately. You just install the SCT software onto your computer and upload the tune to your tuner.
