SCT xcalibrator 2 as a gift.!!

my buddy came by my house the other day and found out i bought a Mustang.
He told he that He has a programmer(SCT Xcalibrator 2) for my car but he dosent know if its "unlocked"..hes giving it to me so i gotta find some info on where i could get some flash downloads. i tried the website but is asking me for the P/N number. Anyways, i get it tomorrow. i'll inform...Let me know if you guys have any suggestions...ohh and yea...how much hp will i gain?

keep in mind i only have a BBK CAI and weld-in Delta Flows(2.25)..?

get it and plug it up, it should say on lock status locked or unlocked, If locked SCT will walk you through unlocking it
I always recommend BamaChips Tuning He has always treated me and my cars well. Expect anything from 8-12 gained mainly because you will jump to premium gas and the timing gets a bump up

i run 93 octane in my car now is that bad?

93 octane won't fully detonate properly, if I recall correctly. Over time, it will create carbon build-up. You should use 87 octane if you are stock (even with the mods you have) That is what the Mustang is designed for (in stock tune). Anything with a higher octane, and you are throwing money out the window.
