Check out this site for a go kart facility in Carlsbad. It's off of Palomar Airport Road by the airport (I think it's in the old Pinnfund building if anyone remembers that scandal a couple years ago). Looks like alot of fun.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that admission is free if you let some guys in the local Vette club change your oil.

As to the date, I'll be gone next weekend. Otherwise I'm open.

I am totally into it!
In fact, I'm going right over there right now to check it out.
How about Saturday the 25th?
wife is out of town, the 26th is my B-day, I'm all over it!

Just got back from checking out the place, looks like a blast! total S.O.T.A. facility.
It's right around the corner from one of my places of work, I could do laps at lunch.
We need to get a group together!
I'm there no matter what.

Sure we could.
I would probably still go on the 24th, and besides that way I can get some practice laps so that I can kick Beau's A$$ when he does go

Very tempting, but I've been real busy at work lately.
What time will you be there?
I'll see if I can break away.

I can't talk any more smack, I've never driven one of the things.
It seems like an electric motor wouldn't have enough torque to exit corners correctly so it would seem that entering the corners smoothly would be crucial
Hey, if it's racing, I'm into it.

Yeah, they are electric. 20hp I guess.
I just don't know how a 20hp 12 volt motor can haul my fat A$$ out of a turn but hey, I can't wait to try it out!
